Strategic Portfolio Development and Management Law Firm

Who We Are!

The Intellectual Property Group (referenced as “RPSA-IP”) is a division of the San Antonio law firm of Rosenthal Pauerstein Sandoloski Agather, LLP, which was founded in 2006 by a group of seasoned attorneys dedicated to meeting the legal needs of rapidly growing businesses and active entrepreneurs.  Leveraging the talents of four San Antonio patent and trademark attorneys with experienced paralegal support, RPSA-IP has tremendous experience in every facet of patent preparation and prosecution.

Led by Texas veteran portfolio strategist Will Quirk, the team also includes partners Alan Thiele and Daniel Rogers.  With the combined experience of well more than 100 years of writing, prosecuting and managing patent portfolios (both in-house and out-house) for Texans and San Antonio residents, the RPSA-IP team is gifted at developing portfolios that maximize business value while minimizing costs.

Accomplished Patent and Trademark Professionals.

All RPSA-IP attorneys are recognized by their peers as being among the brightest and most accomplished attorneys practicing intellectual property law in San Antonio.  While all our attorneys routinely advise clients on strategic portfolio development, Alan Thiele and Will Quirk have focused their careers on value maximization and strategic direction for patent portfolio management.

Although few clients want to be involved in litigation, all our attorneys also have the added depth of perspective that comes from having successfully enforced intellectual property assets, as well as from having successfully defended clients and their businesses against third party intellectual property claims.

In addition to patent protection, RPSA-IP attorneys are experienced in developing, registering and enforcing trademarks and copyrights.   In our trademark and copyright practice we have the focused skills to protect and promote our clients’ goodwill and brand identity.
